Sausage Gravy

1 lb sausage 2 tbsp onion diced 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 3 cups whole milk or more, as needed. 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp black pepper
Add the onion to a skillet over medium high heat. Cook until translucent, 2-3 minutes.
Add the sausage, breaking it up as it cooks until completely brown.
Sprinkle flour over the sausage, stirring until all the flour is absorbed. Allow flour to cook about 2-3 minutes.
Pour the milk into the skillet. Stir until well combined.
Add seasonings and stir until the gravy has thickened.
Remove from heat and serve over warm biscuits!
