Strawberry Shortcake Crumble

Strawberry shortcake crumble is a crunchy topping made with vanilla cream cookies and freeze-dried strawberries. The taste of sweet and tangy strawberries along with rich vanilla cookie crumbs, is the perfect pairing! If you enjoy Good Humor strawberry shortcake ice cream bars, you will love this recipe!

2 ingredient, no-bake strawberry crunch topping

This easy strawberry shortcake crumb topping requires no baking and I only use two ingredients to make it! Golden Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries.

Many recipes call for butter, but honestly I don’t think it’s necessary. If you prefer, you may add some melted butter to this recipe for added flavor. However, I think this crumble is perfect as is.

What to have with strawberry shortcake crumble?

There are so many ways to enjoy strawberry shortcake crumble. You can use it as a topping for ice cream, yogurt, cereal, cakes, cheesecake and cookies. I also love to make white chocolate dipped strawberries and top with this crumble… AMAZING!

How to make strawberry shortcake crumble?

This recipe is super easy to make! Just crush your cookies and freeze-dried strawberries together and that’s it!

You can use a food processor and pulse until the mixture reaches the consistency you like. If you don’t have a food processor, you can use a gallon-size freezer bag and use a rolling pin to crush the cookies and freeze-dried strawberries into crumbs.

How to store?

This strawberry shortcake crumble is best stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. It will last up to two weeks. If you wish to store for a longer time, you can store in the freezer for up to three months.
