Strawberry yogurt popsicles are delicious and healthy which make them the perfect frozen treat for your children! Even if you have a picky eater on your hands, this is the perfect way to get them to eat fresh fruit and yogurt. These popsicles are rich in Vitamin C, protein, fiber and probiotics.
The sweet taste of strawberries compliment the creamy texture of the yogurt perfectly. This recipe also works great with blueberries and raspberries! My daughter Ella loves strawberries and raspberries. My son Cameron prefers blueberries. Either way, I’m a happy mama! The fact that my kids are eating fresh fruit and yogurt instead of junk food makes me happy.
2 Ingredient Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles
My favorite part about making these healthy strawberry yogurt popsicles is how easy they are to make! You will only need two ingredients. You guessed it, strawberries and yogurt. That’s it! Of course, if you use unsweetened Greek yogurt, you can add honey to sweeten the popsicles. I found a variation of this strawberry yogurt popsicles recipe over at Simply Recipes.
How to Make Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles?
Strawberry yogurt popsicles are super easy to make. Depending on how you like them, you can either blend the ingredients in a food processor or you can mash the strawberries and fold them into the yogurt. I personally prefer to mash the strawberries because I like the texture in my popsicles. I also think they look prettier that way too.
Tips for Best Results
- Taste your strawberries before you use them in this recipe. If your strawberries are ripe and sweet, you won’t need to add any sweetener!
- After you mix the ingredients together, taste for sweetness and adjust if necessary.
- Once your popsicles are completely frozen, run the tray under warm water, if needed to help them release easily. Here’s a link to the tray I use and love!
- If you’re preparing these for a baby, omit the honey.
