McDonald's cheeseburgers are so easy to make at home, you'll want to save this recipe! These burgers are also healthier and much more affordable than the ones from the restaurant chain. I use 1 pound of ground beef and I get six burgers for the price of one happy meal.
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 5 minutes mins
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 white onion finely diced
- ketchup
- dill pickle slices
- 6 burger buns

Form the burger patties. Place each patties in between wax paper and roll out with a rolling pin to flatten. Mix the seasonings together in a small bowl. Season the patties lightly on each side.
Place a large skillet over medium high heat. Toast the inside of the buns. Set aside.
Cook the burgers on the skillet, about 2 minutes per side. Remove the skillet from heat. Add a slice of cheese on each patty and allow the cheese to melt.
Place the burger patties on the bottom buns. Drizzle ketchup on the top buns and top with diced onions and a pickle slice.
Serve with shoestring fries and enjoy!
