Homemade Adobo (Adobo Puertorriqueño)

Homemade adobo comes together easily with spices you probably have in your pantry. When stored properly, it can last up to 3 years. Save this recipe and elevate your dishes to a new level!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp ground oregano
  • 2 tbsp ground turmeric

Instructions
 

  • Add all spices to a mixing bowl and mix until well combined.
  • To achieve a smoother consistency, you may blend the spices in a food processor or sift with a sieve.
  • Use a funnel to pour the adobo into a glass jar.
  • You may store the rest in an air tight container for up to 3 years.
