Habichuelas Tiernas con Ajo (Garlic Green Beans)
Habichuelas tiernas con ajo or garlic green beans are a great side dish to pair with almost any meal. They are easy to prepare and this dish comes together in less than 15 minutes. Everyone loves it!

Green beans
- 1 lb fresh green beans
- 2 tsp sal
Garlic oil
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 enteros garlic crushed
- 1/8 tsp cebolla en polvo
- 1/8 tsp ajo en polvo
- sal to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
Wash the green beans in cold water and trim the ends.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil with 2 teaspoons of salt. Add the green beans, cook for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse the beans under cold water to cool. Set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the garlic and cook a few minutes until fragrant.
Add the green beans and the seasonings. Toss until evenly coated.
